The Process
Your 7-Day Treatment Pathway
From your first consultation to flying home — every step is planned and coordinated by DM2Medical.
Before Travel
Typically 2–4 weeks before
- ·Pre-surgery Zoom consultation arranged with the surgeon/clinic
- ·Review of your goals, suitability, and expected outcomes
- ·Pre-travel checklist shared (documents, medication list, practical preparation)
- ·Surgery date confirmed and schedule shared
Day −1
Arrival in Budapest (recommended)
- ·Arrive and settle in (hotel check-in)
- ·Pre-op reminders and timing confirmation for the next day
Day 0
Surgery day (outpatient)
- ·Clinic admission, consent, and pre-op assessment
- ·Upper eyelid blepharoplasty performed (typically under local anaesthetic)
- ·Short recovery monitoring at the clinic
- ·Same-day discharge — no hospital stay required
Days 1–6
Recovery in Budapest
- ·Rest and recovery (swelling and bruising is normal in the early days)
- ·Follow the clinic's aftercare instructions
Day 7
Stitch removal + fit-to-fly
- ·Clinic appointment for stitch removal
- ·Surgeon confirms healing is stable and provides fit-to-fly clearance
- ·Typically fly back to London same day or next morning
After You Return
Back in London
- ·Bruising usually continues to fade over the following 2–3 weeks
