Hospital benefit
£50 per 24-hour period as a hospital in-patient outside the UK (beyond the night of admission), up to a maximum of £1,500.

If you spend a night as an in-patient in a hospital outside the UK, Pulse Globetrotter pays £50 for each further complete 24-hour period in that hospital — up to a maximum of £1,500. This benefit excludes nights directly related to the planned treatment, but covers unexpected extensions to your hospital stay.

DM2Medical specialties that are explicitly covered
Total hip replacement and total knee replacement (Orthopaedics), cataract extraction and refractive / laser eye surgery (Eye Clinics), and bariatric / weight loss surgery (Weight Loss) are all named in the Pulse Globetrotter policy. Any other elective surgical procedure not listed is also covered under the general policy wording.
